What do you do professionally?

I’m immersed in the two worlds of my double degree: Law and Media. I am definitely not ready to leave behind those two loves (even after studying them for 5 long and gruelling years), so I have continued to pursue them into the professional sphere as a paralegal at BlackBay Lawyers where I assist in all types of Media matters, especially defamation and also more broadly in Commercial and Employment law.

On top of this, I have kept my toes in the media pool presenting for WIN News Illawarra on a regular basis covering local stories, interviewing politicians and chasing breaking news. I love the hustle and bustle of the newsroom but mostly, I adore chatting to people and hearing their stories.

What do you do outside of work?

I have a growing list of hobbies and a few that I indulge in more regularly than others. Travel, baking, hiking, salsa dancing, piano and surfing and a few of those. It’s rare for a day to go by without me baking a cheeky treat or getting outdoors to climb a tree (or maybe even fall out of one as I did last week inducing an artwork of colourful bruises on my limbs).
